Aloo Tikki How to prepare?

Aloo Tikki Ingredients
4 potatoes
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 green chilli, chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp sago flour or arrowroot flour
Few fresh coriander leaves
1 tsp Lemon juice
Salt to taste
2-3 tbsp oil for shallow frying

Aloo Tikki Method

Boil the potatoes in the pressure cooker till soft. Once cooled, peel and grate them using grater.
Take grated potato in a bowl.
Add rest of the ingredients except oil.
Mix everything together using your hand. It will come together like a dough.
Divide the mixture into equal portions and make round tikki.
Cover the patties and refrigerate for at least an hour. This is done to make crispy tikkies.
Heat a pan, place the 3-4 patties at a time on a hot pan. Drizzle some oil and shallow fry the patties till golden crispy from both sides.
Serve hot with vrat ki chutney.

Note:
Use rock salt or sendha namak instead of regular salt.
Instead potatoes you can make tikki using sweet potatoes or kaccha kela.
Use any fasting flour for binding ( singhare ka atta or rajgira ka atta)
